In this podcast we will be interviewing a pharmacy leader to discuss their Pharmacy Technician Training programs at their respective site. We will discuss the structure of their program, the successes they found in having a program, and the challenges they’ve faced along the way.

SPEAKERS

Ann ZhouAnn Zhou graduated from the Texas A&M Rangel College of Pharmacy in Kingsville, TX, and completed PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Memorial Hermann Hospital Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Ann Zhou is currently a pharmacy educator at Johns Hopkins Hospital and serves as the Program Director for the Johns Hopkins Health System Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

Andrew LucarottiAndrew Lucarotti received his pharmacy degree in 2011 from the University of Michigan. He also completed the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy in 2013 and his Master of Business Administration in 2017 from New England College. Dr. Lucarotti has worked at University of Michigan Health for the entirety of his career and been in a variety a roles including a clinical pharmacist, Team Lead, Manager of Medicine Services and Central Pharmacy Cleanroom, and now Director of Pharmacy.
