This podcast will address opportunities to develop relationships with payers to optimize patient outcomes. With the expansion of ambulatory care populations health initiatives and prescription-based services, strategic relationships between pharmacy enterprise and payers has become increasingly important.
SPEAKERS
McKaya Kastner is a 2013 graduate of North Dakota State University. After graduation, she completed an ambulatory care residency at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana. Mckaya is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and was a MTM clinical pharmacist with Allina Health for six years. She received her MBA in 2020 and is currently the Director of Pharmacy for the Allina Health Group and Population Health.
Magaly Rodriguez de Bittner is Associate Dean for Clinical Services and Practice Transformation, Gyi Endowed Professor in Pharmapreneurship at the School of Pharmacy, University of Maryland. She is also Executive Director for the Center for Innovative Pharmacy Solutions who has implemented a variety of innovative advanced pharmacy programs including the Maryland P3 Program, the e-Heath Center at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, Interprofessional Care Transition Clinic, and pharmacy services within Primary Care and Integrated Primary Care Network (QCN) in value-based models.
Stacy Elder Dalpoas, PharmD, MPH, BCPS is a graduate of UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and completed a two-year Pharmacotherapy Residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She has a Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has practiced in academia, clinical pharmacy, and pharmacy administration in academic and community health-systems and currently works as a health-system Clinical Pharmacy Outcomes Manager focusing on initiatives to ensure optimal pharmacy impact on health outcomes.
