SPEAKERS
Matthew Kelm, PharmD, MHA has more than 15 years of experience as a pharmacist, pharmacy administrator, academician, author, and researcher. He is the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer for Oncology Pharmacy Services at Duke University Health System in Durham, NC. Matt earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University in 2006 and his Masters in Healthcare Administration from University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2012. He is actively involved in multiple state and national level professional organizations and currently serves as the President of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists.
Mariel Pereda, PharmD, BCPS is Manager of Pharmacy Operations at Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) in New Haven, CT. Dr. Pereda earned her PharmD from the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency, followed by a PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at YNHH. In addition to her role managing pharmacy operations, she also serves as the Program Director for the YNHH Pharmacy Technician Training Program, and the Program Coordinator for the YNHH PGY1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency program.
