Greetings New Practitioners!
On behalf of the New Practitioners Forum Executive Committee, I am excited to jump-start the new year with you! The New Practitioners Forum is home for new pharmacy graduates (congrats 2022 graduates!) and pharmacists within their first five years of practice. We are thrilled that you have chosen ASHP as your professional home.
I encourage you to review the resources curated by members of the New Practitioners Forum just for you! In case you are asking yourself, where do I start? This new webpage is a great starting point with additional information on networking, career development, mentoring, preceptor development, and more! Throughout the year, members of the New Practitioners Forum Advisory Groups will develop various tools that are applicable to you, published periodically in the New Practitioners Forum NewsLink.
The Forum is comprised of six advisory groups with over 100 new practitioner volunteers that support the mission and vision of the Forum. The Forum is proud to establish two new advisory groups - Career & Leadership Development Advisory Group and the Personal Development Advisory Group. The intent behind the new advisory groups is to better align with the needs of new practitioners. Congratulations to all our advisory group members and chairs on their appointments.
