Greetings New Practitioners!

Fall is upon us and the Virtual Midyear Clinical Meeting is quickly approaching. Whether you are attending Midyear to secure a residency, search for a new job opportunity or take advantage of the wide variety of continuing education programming offered, now is the time to start thinking about polishing your CV. It is important to continue to update your CV as you accomplish important milestones within your career. ASHP offers several resources to help prepare students and new practitioners. Most notably, is the CV Transition Toolkit. Recent additions to the toolkit includes two podcast episodes that highlights CV Development for Non-Traditional Career Paths – Medical Writing and Informatics & Industry and Consulting.

Are you looking to get more involved with ASHP? There are several opportunities as a new practitioner to remain engaged in the Forum:

Ways to stay connected with the Forum:

  • Follow NPF Twitter Account
  • Ask questions and share experiences on the ASHP New Practitioners Forum Connect Community

There are many challenges new practitioners face throughout their career. The mission of the New Practitioners Forum is to increase engagement by providing a community and collective voice for new practitioners as they transition into pharmacy practice. There are several resources that have been developed to help with the transition however, we rely on feedback from our members to let us know how we can better serve you! Please reach out to the NPF Executive Committee via email or ASHP Connect with any comments or suggestions.
