As part of the ASHP-SSHP Recognition Program, official recognition serves as the completion of the “triad” relationship between ASHP, the ASHP state affiliate organization, and the SSHP, as well as provides a direct relationship between ASHP and the SSHP. A strong relationship between SSHPs and ASHP State Affiliates is important to help societies grow professionally and to expose members to the world of health-system pharmacy outside of the school organization. Included are a number of suggestions and ideas that SSHPs and State Affiliates can utilize to foster collaboration.
