The role of the Section Executive Committee is to provide leadership, guidance, and advice to ASHP on ways to better meet the day to day practice needs of members.

Lisa Stump, MS, RPh, FASHP
Ms. Lisa Stump is a highly accomplished Chief Information and Digital Transformation Officer with a proven track record of success in leading complex digital initiatives. At Yale New Haven Health and the Yale Aligned Clinician Enterprise, she leads the strategic planning, development, implementation, and adoption of digital initiatives across the enterprise. With over 25 years of experience in healthcare, she has led the implementation of many clinical, financial, and business systems and partnered with new and innovative companies to develop new solutions. Ms. Stump serves on the Connecticut HIT Advisory Council, where she supports statewide development of technology and data exchange policy and has served on multiple advisory committees to schools of Pharmacy and Health Professions, regionally. Ms. Stump was recognized by the University of Connecticut, School of Pharmacy as a Distinguished Alumna and by Sacred Heart University with the Community Partner Award. Mrs. Stump is a graduate of the Univ. of Connecticut School of Pharmacy (B.S. Pharm 1991), The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy (MS, Pharmacy Administration 1993), and completed ASHP-accredited residency training in Pharmacy Administration at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. Ms. Stump has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field of IT, having been named one of the Top 100 CIOs in the US, the CIO of the Year by InspireCIOBoston, and by the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) as one of The Most Influential Women in Health IT.

Kathryn R. Brown, PharmD, MHA
Dr. Brown is the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Kaiser Permanente Pharmacy Services including National Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy, Home Infusion, Call Center, and Clinical Services, incorporating IT, digital and technology to better service patient care. Dr. Brown is a high energy, results oriented leader with broad pharmacy and health care experience –combining clinical and business acumen with a solid record of collaboration and structured problem solving to implement new programs, services, and departments. Her experience includes the following: leadership of health plan and delivery system health care operations including Pharmacy, Home Care, Hospice, Ambulatory Oncology and Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial health plan operations. She has expertise in local, regional, and national healthcare issues, policy, and regulatory review as well as technology and business development. She is passionate about the translation of technology into optimal drug use and improved health. Dr. Brown earned her Bachelor of Science from Washington State University, graduating with honors and an international emphasis from the University of Copenhagen. She received her MHA and PharmD from the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Medicine. She has earned Executive Business and Leadership certificates from Harvard University, and Boston University. She is a member of state and national pharmacy organizations and is a Board member of University of Washington School of Pharmacy, YWCA food bank and West Coast Innovators
Susan Flaker, PharmD, MBA, DPLA
Dr. Flaker is the Regional Director of Pharmacy for Southeast Minnesota region of Mayo Clinic Health System. After graduating for the University of Health Science St Louis she started her career at Barnes Jewish Hospital where she quickly got involved with technology assisting with the testing and teach of the EHR. She continued to develop her technological skills by acting as one of the leads rolling out DoseEdge at the hospital as well as leading the roll out of carousel technology. With her transition to Mayo Clinic she continued to foster her interest in technology by leading a group to study the use of augmented intelligence to assist with order verification, a field she continues to study. Dr. Flaker is very excited to be a part of the inaugural executive committee of the ASHP Sectional of Digital and Telehealth Practitioners. Dr. Flaker looks forward to assisting with the expansion of this field to allow pharmacists to work at the top of their licenses while utilizing technology to assist with the daily work of the pharmacists and allow the pharmacists to connect better with their patients by using technology.
Scott Nelson, PharmD, MS, FAMIA, ACHIP
Dr. Nelson is a pharmacist and Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Nelson is the Director of the Master of Science in Applied Clinical Informatics (MS-ACI) online program, and currently works in Medication Safety Informatics in HealthIT. His domain expertise include clinical decision support, medication reconciliation, e-prescribing, artificial intelligence, knowledge management, medication standards and terminologies, and immunizations. Dr. Nelson received his PharmD from the University of Utah, then completed a 2-year fellowship in Medical Informatics with the Department of Veterans Affairs and a MS in Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah.
Addison Ragan, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Ragan is the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) National Clinical Resource Hub (CRH) Pharmacy Program Manager. She champions the role of the clinical pharmacist practitioner (CPP) within this innovative enterprise-wide hub and spoke telehealth care model. She has led efforts to integrate the CPP into CRH virtual telehealth teams across primary care, mental health, pain, SUD, and medical specialties. In addition, she has developed policy and guidance to integrate health professional trainees into this novel virtual training model. Prior to her work with CRH, she served as the Atlanta Network VA Academic Detailing Pharmacy Program Manager where she managed a successful virtual academic detailing program leading the development and diffusion of educational campaigns across the enterprise. She started her career at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System as a Primary Care CPP and later served as Associate Chief of Clinical Pharmacy where she expanded clinical pharmacy practice across diverse practice areas and implemented a PGY-1 Residency Program. She currently serves on the VA National Clinical Pharmacy Advisory Board and VA National Clinical Pharmacy Practice Council promoting clinical pharmacy practice innovation.
