ASHP Digital Health & AI Advocacy and Policy

ASHP’s advocacy efforts support our mission to help people achieve optimal health outcomes. As part of this work, we are committed to advocacy that supports pharmacists as patient care providers and medication experts on the care team, and in advancing the role of pharmacy technicians as a vital part of the pharmacy team. ASHP has produced a number of statements and advocacy initiatives that address the impact of digital health and artificial intelligence on pharmacy practice and the pharmacy workforce.
