SPEAKERS
Shirley Bonanni, PharmD, BCPS received her PharmD degree from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. Shirley serves as the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director, precepts the PGY1 General Medicine experience in Family & Community Medicine, PGY1 Transitions of Care, and PGY1 Ambulatory Care rotations. She is actively involved in the Refugee Clinic at the Wyss Wellness Center in South Philadelphia.
Nirali Patel, PharmD is a current PGY2 Ambulatory Care Resident at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, and completed her PGY1 at the University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, Missouri.
Her passion is to provide outstanding direct patient care by impacting and improving the overall health of a patient, in the most affordable way. Additionally, she enjoys collaborating with health care professionals to provide progressive pharmacy services that enhance patient access to improve health, education, and support. Nirali is looking forward to developing her skills in ambulatory pharmacy settings as an independent practitioner this year and progressing towards a career as a clinical pharmacist. She hopes that the rigorous, innovative, and supportive environment of CoxHealth will help push her to practice pharmacy at the utmost level.
