Oral anticancer medications are increasingly being incorporated into cancer treatment regimens and pharmacists may be encountering patients on these medications in their practices more frequently. Doreen Pon, PharmD, BCOP, BCPS is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and Faculty in Residence at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California. She is certified in oncology pharmacy and pharmacotherapy by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties and her clinical practice interests include hematology, oncology, and supportive care.
Wyndie Tse, PharmD is the Medication Safety Officer at City of Hope. She has over 15 years of experience as a hospital pharmacy leader in roles ranging from Informatics Supervisor at Long Beach Memorial to Director of Pharmacy at Children’s Hospital of Orange County. She obtained a pharmacy doctorate from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a pharmacy practice residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center followed by a pharmacy administration residency at Long Beach Memorial.
