SPEAKERS

Jessica StarrJessica Starr, PharmD, BCPS, FCCP is an associate clinical professor at Auburn University and an active clinician at Princeton Baptist Medical Center, where she serves as the postgraduate year 2 internal medicine residency program director. She received her PharmD from Auburn University and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency and Specialty Residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her primary area of interest is with the cardiovascular disease states, specifically heart failure, where she is well-published and has given numerous national lectures at both ASHP and ACCP meetings.

Teena SamTeena Sam, PharmD, BCCP serves as a pharmacy manager and residency program director for the postgraduate year 2 in Solid Organ Transplant at Baylor University Medical Center. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from St. John’s University in NY. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant specialty residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. She is passionate about elevating pharmacy services, professional advocacy and investing in learners.
