This podcast episode provides an overview of vaping with an additional emphasis on use in the adolescent population. Topics will include an overview of vaping devices, changes in adolescent use over the past several years, and management of associated lung injury.

Livia Linden, PharmD, is a postgraduate year 2 pediatric pharmacy resident at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Linden graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Belmont University College of Pharmacy in 2020. She went on to complete a PGY1 pediatric pharmacy residency at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and stayed to complete her PGY2 pediatric residency. Her practice interests include pediatrics, critical care, and cardiology.
Jordan Burdine, PharmD, MBA, BCPPS, is a clinical pharmacy practice specialist in Pediatrics and Neonatology at UTMB Health in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Burdine graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC-SOP) in 2015. She went on to complete a PGY1 pharmacy residency at West Virginia University Medicine, followed by a PGY2 pediatrics residency at TTUHSC-SOP. At UTMB, Dr. Burdine works as part of the neonatal interdisciplinary team, precepts pharmacy students and residents, provides education to physicians and nurses, and assists in the development of guidelines and protocols for the UTMB Department of Pediatrics.
