During this podcast, we will be talking with Tina Claypool. We will discuss her involvement with Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists (KSHP) Women in Pharmacy Committee and the integration of students with state affiliates. This relationship is beneficial by encouraging professional growth, mentorship, and furthering the provision of pharmacy care. The audience will gain insight on inclusion and how to involve themselves with state affiliates.

Tina Claypool is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at UofL Health in Louisville, KY where she serves as Supervisor of Ambulatory Care Pharmacy and Director, PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program. Tina’s clinical practice is dedicated to improving the health and support of UofL Health employees with diabetes.
Dr. Claypool recently served as 2020-21 President of Kentucky Society of Health-System Pharmacists (KSHP). She is a Member-at-Large of the Kentucky Diabetes Network Leadership Team. Tina is passionate about pharmacists serving in the role where they are best - medication expert, patient advocate, and patient health educator.
Isabella Hansen is a 4th-year pharmacy student at the University of Kentucky looking forward to completing a combined PGY1 and PGY2 HSPAL residency or fellowship in association management. Currently, Isabella is a pharmacy intern at Good Samaritan Hospital and serves on her SSHP Pharmacy Practice Committee and Women in Pharmacy ad hoc group. In her free time, you may see her outdoors either hiking with her dogs, snowboarding, or playing ultimate frisbee.
