SPEAKERS
Jordan Mendkoff is currently a PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident at Fairview Pharmacy Services and M Health Fairview in Minneapolis, MN. Alongside his residency, Jordan is receiving his MS in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. Jordan completed his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 2019. Jordan’s practice interests include specialty pharmacy, home infusion, and leadership development. Outside of residency, Jordan is involved professionally as a work group lead for the ASHP New Practitioners Form Career Development Advisory Group, a member of the Vizient Pharmacy Network Programming Innovation and Engagement Committee, and a member of the MSHP Annual Conference Planning Committee. As a student pharmacist, Jordan was involved in multiple leadership roles with the Minnesota Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and nationally as a member of the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum Community and eCommunications Advisory Group and as the appointed student member on the ASHP Commission on Affiliate Relations. In 2019, Jordan was a recipient of the ASHP Student Leadership Award and the Minnesota Society of Health-System Pharmacists Outstanding Student Award.
Gillian Leung is a current PGY2 Cardiology Pharmacy Resident at UNC REX Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. Gillian earned her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Beaumont, Hospital-Royal Oak, MI. Her practice interests include heart failure, anticoagulation, cardio-oncology, and transitions of care. Aside from taking care of her cardiovascular patients, she enjoys staying active in different professional organizations. She currently serves on the ASHP New Practitioner Forum Career Development Advisory Group, APhA New Practitioners Network Editorial Advisory Board, and the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists Resource Development Committee.
Stephen Davis is the Director of Health System Strategy for Shields Health Solutions. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Auburn University’s Harrison School of Pharmacy. He completed a Two Year Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He obtained his Master of Science degree in Health-System Pharmacy Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also a Fellow of American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP). Stephen has served on the ASHP New Practitioner Leadership and Career Development Advisory Group and has been an active member on the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Managers and Advisory Groups. He has served on the Commission of Credentialing. He currently serves on the International Accreditation Commission (IAC) and as faculty for ASHP’s Managers Boot Camp. Stephen is also involved at the state and regional level as he has served as the past chair of the Texas Society of Health System Pharmacists Editorial Advisory Board, the past treasurer for Gulf Coast Society of Health System Pharmacists, and is an active member of the Texas Society of Health System Pharmacists. He received the TSHP 2015 Pharmacy Leadership Award. Stephen received the 2016 Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award from the Auburn Alumni Association in Auburn University. In 2017, Stephen received the Distinguished Service award from the ASHP New Practitioners Forum (NPF). He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented presentations at local, regional, and national conferences.
Afomia Feleke is an experienced pharmacist with a diverse clinical background. She obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN and completed post-graduate residency training in Pharmacy Practice (PGY-1) at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak. She worked as a staff clinical pharmacist and later as the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Internal Medicine for almost nine years, combined. Afomia has also been academically involved with the local pharmacy and medical schools. She currently works as a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in industry.
