Montez CarterMontez Carter, PharmD, FACHE, (he/his/him) currently serves as president and CEO of Trinity Health of New England, which encompasses five hospitals, a medical group, home care services, retirement community, and ambulatory centers. Montez has served in various leadership roles including hospital president, vice president of hospital operations, pharmacy director and clinical coordinator of pharmacy services. Montez earned his doctoral degree in pharmacy from the University of Mississippi and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama

Ruth E. CassidyRuth Cassidy, BS PharmD, MBA, FACHE, FASHP, (she/her) is an influential leader with a distinguished 30+ year career spanning academic professorships and excellence in healthcare administration. Comprehensive background in strategic planning, board governance, labor relations, operational and provider contracting, employee engagement, DEI and driving customer satisfaction. Demonstrated unparalleled growth in ambulatory care, generating 23M in revenue in two years and advancing population health. Co-Author of a book on Healthcare Management published and sold internationally.

Michael SanbornMike Sanborn, FACHE, FASHP, (he/him) is chief growth officer at Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas. Through its integrated delivery system of 51 hospitals and more than 1,200 access points, including three academic medical centers, the system offers the full continuum of care. As chief growth officer, Sanborn pursues expansion and partnerships that strengthen patient care services. In his previous role, he served as CEO of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. Sanborn received both his pharmacy and Master's degree from the University of Kansas.

David ChenDavid Chen, RPh, MBA (he/him/his) is the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ assistant vice president for pharmacy leadership and planning. He has been with ASHP starting September 2004, and previously served the role as Director of Pharmacy at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland including the Kessler/Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital. Mr. Chen earned his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Pharmacy and his MBA from the Loyola University of Maryland.
