In this episode, speakers explore cyber-attacks in a pharmacy setting. Listeners will be given a general overview of cyber-attacks, phases of cyber emergency management, and common best practices.

Samuel Ubanyionwu, PharmD, BCPS received his Bachelors in Chemistry from Texas Southern University in May of 2010 and his PharmD from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in May of 2014. He completed a postgraduate year 1 residency at Harris Health System in Houston, Texas and a PGY2 Pharmacy Informatics residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Ubanyionwu is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and is currently a medication management informaticist at Mayo Clinic.
Catherine Palmer is a third-year student pharmacist at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She is a pharmacy informatics and analytics intern at Vizient a well as community intern at CVS Pharmacy.
Stacy Carson, PharmD, BCPS, FISMP is the medication safety officer for AdventHealth. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Following graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice and Drug Information residency at the University of Kansas Hospital and then completed a Safe Medication Management Fellowship at ISMP. In her current role she helps lead medication safety initiatives working in collaboration with clinical, operational, and informatics leaders.
