Allie Fay, PharmD, CPP, BCACP, BC-ADM is the clinical pharmacist of The Family Health Centers, a physician-owned independent practice in Asheville, NC. She received her doctorate in pharmacy from Ohio Northern University Raabe College of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Community Care of North Carolina, then her PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency with a focus in academia with the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Currently, she primarily provides chronic disease management through a co-visit model. Additionally, she assists with Medicare Annual Wellness Visits, high-risk transitions of care, and medication access. Dr. Fay also serves as a preceptor for fourth-year pharmacy students and UNC Rural Health Scholars. Outside of her practice, she serves within ASHP on the SAG on Compensation and Practice Sustainability, Western North Carolina Outpatient Pharmacy Partners, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity.
Mary Ann Kliethermes received a BS in pharmacy from the University of Michigan in 1977 her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science in 1981. Her career includes clinical practice and management in hospital, home infusion, ambulatory practice and academia. Her current position is Director of Medication Safety and Quality at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Her expertise is in pharmacist reimbursement, medication optimization, safety and quality attainment associated pharmacist services; particularly in new health care models and value-based payment systems.
She has served as Chair of the Section of Ambulatory Care for ASHP , represented ASHP at the Joint Commission Ambulatory Professional and Technical Advisory Group, the Care Transitions Work Group of the PCPI and the Ambulatory Patient Safety Technical Advisory Panel for ASPE/HHS. She is a member of the ASHP SAG on Clinical Practice Advancement. Mary Ann has contributed to the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) since its inception. She has served as Chair, Executive Committee and Board member of PQA. She is past chair for the APhA PCMH/ACO SIG. Mary Ann has been awarded Pharmacist of the Year, Shining Star Award and the Amy Lodolce Mentorship Award from ICHP, the Distinguished Service Award and Distinguished Leadership in Health-System Pharmacy Practice from ASHP, CCP Outstanding Faculty Award and the Daniel B. Smith Practice Excellence award from APhA.
Jillanne Schulte Wall is the Senior Director of Health & Regulatory Policy for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) in Bethesda, MD. She serves as ASHP’s primary liaison to federal regulatory agencies and, in conjunction with other members of the Government Relations team, develops and communicates of ASHP’s positions on federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance related to the profession of pharmacy. Additionally, Jillanne works closely with stakeholders in pharmacy, medicine, manufacturing, and patient advocacy on legislative and regulatory issues of importance to ASHP members.
Jennifer Reiter, PharmD, MBA, BCACP, BCPS, BCADM is the Pharmacy Manager for Ambulatory Care Services at Indiana University Health in Bloomington, IN. Jennifer received her PharmD degree from Purdue University and MBA in Healthcare after completion of the ASHP Foundation's PLA. Jennifer practices collaborative drug therapy management in primary care. She is an active member of the ASHP Ambulatory Care SAG on Compensation and Practice and practice interests include disease management and finding sustainable ambulatory practice models.
