Advice for Someone New to Specialty Area
Her advice to someone new in medication safety and pharmacy quality management would be to learn the workflow of all disciplines (e.g., prescribers related, nurses, respiratory, pharmacy and other ancillary services) and work together to improve our processes as a whole, not individually.
How would you explain the value of ASHP to a friend or colleague?
It’s great to collaborate with other ASHP members, learning new things that they’re doing at their institutions, questions we all have and how we work together to serve our community better.
What is the value of ASHP for the profession?
Dr. Le believes ASHP is active at addressing national and local issues and advancing our pharmacists every day. ASHP also is a valuable resource for all educational materials in different areas of pharmacy.
