Cher Enderby

Cher’s Story

Dr. Cher Enderby received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. After graduation, she completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. Upon residency completion, Dr. Enderby began her career as a Clinical Pharmacist at Tampa General Hospital, then practiced as a Transplant Pharmacist at Mayo Clinic in Florida. In the fall of 2016, Dr. Enderby transitioned to her current role as Coordinator, Education and Staff Development and PGY1 Residency Program Director at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Enderby is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy through the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr. Enderby is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and Board Certified Nutrition Support Pharmacist.

Dr. Enderby is currently involved with the ASHP Section of Clinical Specialists and Scientists, and serves as a member of the Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Preceptor Skills Development. She has served as a CV reviewer for students and residents, and a poster mentor at the Midyear Clinical Meeting.

Mayo Clinic in Florida is a comprehensive academic medical center with extensive outpatient facilities and a 304-bed hospital where advanced programs in education and research support the highest-quality patient care. Mayo Clinic has major campuses in Minnesota, Arizona, and Florida.

Significant Projects

Dr. Enderby has been actively involved in the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists and the Northeast Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NEFSHP) where she served several leadership roles including NEFSHP President in 2014.

As a Transplant Pharmacist, Dr. Enderby has provided presentations, completed IRB approved research, presented posters, and published peer-reviewed articles in the areas of transplant and pulmonary arterial hypertension. She participated on the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties Solid Organ Transplant Role Delineation Study Task Force in 2016.

In her current role, Dr. Enderby is working to further strengthen the education shield in the pharmacy department.
