When did you first join ASHP?

I first joined in 2019 when I started pharmacy school.

What is your current involvement with the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum (i.e. advisory group or executive committee appointment)?

I am a member of the Pharmacy Student Forum Advisory Group for the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice.

What is your favorite part of your ASHP student membership? What has been most beneficial about being a student member of ASHP?

My favorite part is meeting new people and learning from them to help advance my future practice and make connections to help advocate for the pharmacy profession. The most beneficial thing about being a student member is all of the resources ASHP provides for students.

What is your favorite memory from an ASHP event, project, or program?

My favorite memory was going to the most recent Summer Meeting in 2022 with my classmates and other people from the college. I felt like it was a great learning experience to be in the House of Delegates and watch our chapter advisor, Dr. Melanie Dodd, up on stage.

What advice do you have for pharmacy students seeking to become involved in national organizations?

Do not be afraid to apply because you think you will not make it. Take risks and take chances. You never know where you may end up.
