    • Symjepi injection, US WorldMeds, LLC, 0.3 mg/0.3 mL, auto-injector, 2 count, NDC 78670-0130-02
    • Epinephrine injection, Teva, 0.15 mg/0.3 mL, auto-injector, 2 count, NDC 00093-5985-27

Reason for the Shortage

    • Amneal has epinephrine auto-injectors available.
    • Kaleo has Auvi-Q available only through specific distributors.
    • Mylan did not provide a reason for the shortage of EpiPen and EpiPen Jr.
    • Teva did not provide a reason for the shortage of epinephrine 0.15 mg/0.3 mL auto-injectors. Tevas has epinephrine 0.3 mg/0.3 mL auto-injectors available.
    • In March 2022, certain lots of Symjepi were recalled due to potential clogging of the needle. US Worldmeds states the shortage is due to ongoing issues related to the recall.
