Reason for the Shortage

- Apotex has discontinued azithromycin injection.
- AuroMedics did not provide a reason for the shortage.
- Fresenius Kabi had azithromycin injection on shortage due to increased demand.
- Pfizer had azithromycin injection on shortage due to manufacturing delays.
- Slate Run Pharmaceuticals had seen increased demand.
- Sun Pharma is not currently manufacturing azithromycin injection.
