Reason for the Shortage

- Pfizer discontinued Colestid granules for suspension in 5 gram packets in November 2023. The 450 gram bottles were also discontinued.
- Greenstone (Viatris) discontinued colestipol granules for suspension in 5 gram packets in November 2023.
- Colestipol 500 gram bottles with scoop remain available.
