Reason for the Shortage

- Amneal has meropenem injection available.
- AuroMedics has meropenem injection available.
- BBraun has meropenem injection available.
- Fresenius Kabi has meropenem injection available.
- Pfizer has Merrem on shortage due to manufacturing delays. Meropenem 500 mg and 1 gram vials in 25 count were discontinued in February 2020.
- Sagent discontinued meropenem injection.
- Sandoz has meropenem injection available. Sandoz discontinued 500 mg and 1 gram vials in 25 count.
- WG Critical Care launched meropenem in April 2020.
