    • Tears Again ophthalmic solution, OCuSOFT, 1.4%, 15 mL bottle, 1 count, NDC 54799-0904-15 - discontinued
    • Tears Again ophthalmic solution, OCuSOFT, 1.4%, 30 mL bottle, 1 count, NDC 54799-0904-30 - discontinued

Reason for the Shortage

    • Akorn shut down in early 2023.
    • Altaire is not currently marketing polyvinyl alcohol 1.4% ophthalmic solution.
    • Major has discontinued Liquitears ophthalmic drops.
    • Ocusoft has discontinued Tears Again.
    • Rugby has polyvinyl alcohol (NDC 00536-1408-94) ophthalmic drops available.
