Our theme this year is “Return, Refocus, and Refresh.” With specialized sessions about informatics, health and wellness, the opioid crisis, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, this gathering is the perfect opportunity to rediscover the importance of sharing in-person knowledge and revitalizing professional connections.

We are delighted to welcome top-notch speakers, such as former FDA commissioner Dr. Scott Gottlieb, who will be our keynote speaker at the opening general session on Monday, June 13.

The Summer Meetings & Exhibition is also the backdrop to our 74th annual meeting of the ASHP House of Delegates. The House of Delegates oversees ASHP’s professional policies, which express our position on important pharmacy practice and medication use issues in our communities. Summer Meetings attendees are welcome to attend the open sessions of the House of Delegates held in the afternoon on Sunday, June 12, and in the late afternoon on Tuesday, June 14, to hear discussions about current and new policies.

I also encourage attendees to stop by the annual Inaugural and Awards session, which will feature a thought-provoking inaugural address from incoming ASHP President Dr. Paul Walker.
