This award is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to an individual outside the pharmacy discipline in recognition of extraordinary worldwide contributions to the health field.
ASHP Distinguished Leadership Award
This award is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to up to two pharmacists in recognition of excellence in pharmacy practice leadership.
ASHP Donald Francke Medal
This medal is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to a pharmacist who has made significant international contributions to advance pharmacy practice.
ASHP Fellows
The ASHP Practitioner Recognition Program distinction is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to recognize excellence in pharmacy practice and promote public awareness of pharmacists who have distinguished themselves in practice.
ASHP Honorary Membership Award
This award is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to one or more individuals who have made outstanding contributions to pharmacy practice.
ASHP Pharmacy Champion Award
This award is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to one or more elected government officials, public servants, or organizations whose involvement in public policy and advocacy supports the improvement of medication safety and health outcomes and the advancement of pharmacy practice.
ASHP Pharmacy Technician Excellence Award
This award is conferred annually by the ASHP Board of Directors to one or more pharmacy technicians in recognition of contributions to excellence in the role of pharmacy technicians, advancement of the pharmacy technician workforce, and advancement of pharmacy practice.
CEO Award for Courageous Service
This award is conferred at the discretion of the ASHP CEO to one or more persons who go beyond the call of duty to serve patients or assist pharmacists in serving patients, such as under emergency conditions or in times of natural disaster or other catastrophic events.
