SPEAKERS
Cassie Heffern, PharmD, BCACP became an ambulatory care pharmacy specialist at CoxHealth in Springfield, Missouri in 2014. She has served as the PGY2 residency program director since 2015. Her practice site is the Family Medical Care Center, which is a patient centered medical home that houses the Cox Family Medicine Residency. Her site responsibilities include collaborative chronic disease state management utilizing a collaborative practice agreement, assisting with access barriers to medications, and closing population health care gaps.
Carleigh Krueger, PharmD, BCACP is the pharmacist in charge of the Salina Regional Health Center Outpatient Pharmacy in Salina, KS. She received her PharmD from the University of Kansas, completed a PGY1 Residency at SRHC, then stayed on to start their Meds to Beds program. She precepts residents, APPE and IPPE pharmacy students, and serves as adjunct faculty at the KU-Salina School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include technician development, psychiatry, cardiology, and transitions of care.
