Incorporation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is important now more than ever. In this podcast, listeners will hear from a DEI expert relay his/her experiences of DEI in pharmacy practice and share his/ her knowledge to how to best approach DEI in local chapters.

Erica Moseley joined the ASHP staff in May 2021 as the Employee Engagement, Development, and Inclusion Manager. She is responsible for implementing and executing strategies for organization-wide initiatives that drive employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and professional development. With over a decade of experience in Human Resources at for-profit and non-profit organizations, Erica brings a diverse skill set that includes business acumen, change management, organizational design and transformation, and cultural effectiveness.
Diana Doan is a third-year pharmacy student at Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy who serves on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Work group of ASHP Student Society Development Advisory Group. Her current interests include critical care, women’s health, and infectious diseases. When she is not serving on APhA-ASP, Auburn University SSHP, and PLS Alpha Chapter executive committees, she enjoys attending Auburn gymnastic meets, exploring coffee shops, and listening to podcasts.
Damon Alvarez is a third-year student pharmacist from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy with interests in hospital administration, health equity, and government advocacy. Damon was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is highly involved in the student organizations at his college of pharmacy, as well as across the university at large. He intends to pursue a HSPAL residency post-graduation, and is looking forward to his clinical rotations.
