SPEAKERS
Kristy T. Nguyen, Pharm.D., MBA, MS is a clinical staff pharmacist at Tuality Healthcare, practicing in medical surgical and transitions-of-care pharmacy. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy and Masters in Business Administration degrees from Western New England University College of Pharmacy and College of Business in Springfield, Massachusetts. She then received her Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Hayley Brazeale, Pharm.D. received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Hayley is currently finishing a PGY2 internal medicine residency at Houston Methodist. Upon completion of her PGY2, she plans to stay at her current institution as a clinical specialist and preceptor in internal medicine. Hayley currently serves as an ASHP New Practitioners Forum Clinical Practice Advisory Group Member.
Amanda Gerberich, Pharm.D., BCPS is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Pharmacy, where she serves as a drug information specialist in the UIC Drug Information Group. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Amanda completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and a PGY2 drug information residency at University of Illinois at Chicago. Amanda currently serves as an ASHP New Practitioners Forum Clinical Practice Advisory Group Member.
Rebecca (Becca) Lauscher, Pharm.D., BCACP is an ambulatory pharmacist at the University of Wisconsin Health. She practices in primary care, neurology, and community pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 ambulatory care residency at the University of Wisconsin Health. Becca is also a member of the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW), currently serving as a director-at-large for the PSW Senior and Long Term Care Section Board. Becca is also currently serving as an ASHP New Practitioners Forum Clinical Practice Advisory Group Member.
Laura Walsh, Pharm.D. is a clinical staff pharmacist at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toledo and completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Mercy Health Saint Vincent Medical Center where she developed an interest in pediatrics. Her other professional interests include medication safety and pediatric critical care. Laura currently serves as an ASHP New Practitioners Forum Clinical Practice Advisory Group Member.
