In this podcast, the editors discuss how they brought together a group of seasoned and up-and-coming leaders to share their career journeys and lessons learned along the way. The editors also share advice from their own leadership journeys.

Sara J. White, MS and FASHP, is currently a Pharmacy Leadership Coach and Faculty for the Pharmacy Leadership Academy. Sara has served as the Director of Pharmacy, Stanford Hospital and Clinics and Associate Director of Pharmacy University of Kansas Medical Center. Sara completed a BS in Pharmacy from Oregon State University, MS from Ohio State University and an ASHP accredited Residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals and Clinics. She has served as ASHP president and received the Harvey A.K. Whitney Lecture Award.
Susan Teil Boyer, BS Pharm, MS, RPh, FASHP, is currently Senior Consultant with ASHP Consulting Services and serves as primary faculty member for the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Academy. From 2012 to 2017 Susan served as Lead Surveyor for the ASHP Residency Accreditation Services Office. Susan was Executive Director, Washington State Board of Pharmacy, from 2009 to 2012. Prior to joining the board of pharmacy, Susan served for 23 years as Vice President and Director, Pharmacy Services, MultiCare Health System, Tacoma, a five-hospital community-based health system in Washington state from 1987 to 2009. Susan received her BS in Pharmacy from the University of Washington and completed her MS/Residency program in Clinical Pharmacy and Administration from the Ohio State University.
Prior to his retirement, Bruce Scott, was President of EnvisionPharmacies serving patients treated with traditional and specialty medications. He also previously served in executive roles at Medco Health Solutions including President of Accredo Infusion Services, President of Critical Care Systems, and Chief Pharmacist and Senior Vice President of Professional Practice. Before joining Medco, Scott was Chief Operating Officer of McKesson Medication Management. He also has more than 25 years of experience in other hospitals and health systems, including senior leadership positions at Allina Hospitals and Clinics and previously Assistant Director of Pharmacy at Kansas University Medical Center.
