Tyson Lotz, PharmD, MBA is the director of pharmacy services at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake St. Louis. As a member of the LGBTQ community, it's important to him to share his experience and knowledge to help future healthcare team members and leaders feel embraced and valued because of their identity, not despite it.
Dr. Leyner Martinez, PharmD, MS, MHA, FACHE, is the director of pharmacy services at Baptist Hospital of Miami. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Child, and Consumer Sciences from Florida State University and a PharmD from LECOM School of Pharmacy. He completed a PGY1 residency with drug information emphasis at the Poison Control Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital and a combined PGY1/PGY2 residency in health-systems pharmacy administration at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Martinez has certifications in medication therapy management and pharmacy-based immunization delivery and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is also a preceptor to residents and students for health-system pharmacy administration and advance hospital/institutional practice rotations.
