Lindsey Childs-Kean, PharmD, MPH, BCPS is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research with the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She earned her PharmD degree from University of Florida and completed a PGY1 residency at Tampa General Hospital and a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at the South Texas Veterans Healthcare System. Her teaching, research, and practice interests include infectious disease pharmacotherapy and professional development of students and new practitioners.
Amy Sipe has served as a Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner at the Kansas City Veteran Affairs Medical Center since 2004. In 2019 she transitioned to Academic Detailer for Veterans Integrated Service Network 15. Amy's service includes Section of Clinical Scientists and Specialists Educational Steering Committee – Year Round Education Vice-Chair, ASHP House of Delegates, ASHP Council on Therapeutics Chair, President of the Missouri Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Section Advisory Group on Clinical Leadership, and Network Facilitator for Anticoagulation.
Dr. Melissa Christopher graduated from Duquesne University in Pennsylvania and went on to complete a PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency in VA San Diego Healthcare System and worked as Formulary Manager and Clinical Pharmacy Practitioner. Thereafter, she transitioned to program manager of the Academic Detailing pilot in Mental Health and developed into a national program for VHA. She is now the Director of the National Academic Detailing Services and works out of San Diego, CA.
