Rebecca (Becky) Taylor, PharmD, MBA, BCPS, FASHP, (she/her) is vice president, pharmacy service line, UPMC Corporate Services where she oversees acute and ambulatory hospital care at over 43 hospital-based sites and 60 infusion clinics in 3 states. She is responsible for the strategic direction and integration for the pharmacy services across the health system. Prior to this role, she worked at Cleveland Clinic in various roles for 13 years including main campus and several regional hospitals as the Director. Becky is an active member of several local and national pharmacy organizations and has served in elected and appointed positions.
Trent Beach, PharmD, MHA, MBA, BCPS, CPEL, FASHP, FACHE is executive director of pharmacy for the Triangle East Region of UNC Health. Over Dr. Beach’s career, he has been responsible for clinical quality, medication use policy, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy practice, and operational integration across health enterprises. Beach is an award recipient of the Tennessee Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists Health System Distinguished Service Award in recognition of career achievements.
Shannon Patterson, PharmD, MS Candidate, is an ambitious and dedicated professional presently in the role of a PGY2 Health System Pharmacy and Administration Leadership resident at UNC Medical Center. Her passion for health system operations and specialty pharmacy is reflected in her rich knowledge and enthusiastic approach to the field. Shannon has showcased unwavering dedication to excellence in pharmacy practice throughout her academic and professional endeavors. In her residency at UNC Medical Center, she actively pursues the enhancement of her skills and deepens her understanding of health system pharmacy practices.
