SPEAKERS
Philip Almeter, PharmD, MBA serves as Chief Pharmacy Officer for the University of Kentucky HealthCare Enterprise. Dr. Almeter holds an appointment as Assistant Adjunct Professor of Pharmacy with the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. He completed his post graduate residency training at the University of Virginia Health, received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia, and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Kentucky.
Robert Lodder, PhD a professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Kentucky, has conducted extensive academic research using NIH, NSF, AHA and DARPA grants among others. His work resulted in 38 patents and the founding of five device and drug companies raising over $300 million in venture capital and private equity for R&D. Lodder has over 170 publications and has received numerous research awards.
