SPEAKERS
Amanda Jo Shigle, PharmD, BCCCP is a Medical ICU and Emergency Medicine Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at West Virginia University (WVU) Medicine. She also serves as adjunct faculty at the WVU School of Pharmacy. She is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and subsequently completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center followed by a PGY2 in critical care at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Shigle is the current Code Blue Coordinator at WVU for their PGY1 pharmacy practice residency program.
W. Blake Hays, PharmD, BCCCP is a Clinical Pharmacy Team Lead at Indiana University Health. Dr. Hays received his Pharm.D. from Ohio Northern University and went on to complete a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at Indiana University Health. Throughout his career, Dr. Hays has practiced as both an Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist.
