Evidence-Based Recommendations for Monitoring and Antagonism of Neuromuscular Blockade: Overview of New Guidelines
In this interprofessional activity, expert faculty will discuss the recently released practice guidelines on monitoring and antagonism of neuromuscular blockade and use patient cases to develop an evidence-based approach for the management of neuromuscular monitoring during anesthesia and antagonism of neuromuscular blocking agents prior to extubation. Strategies to improve interprofessional collaboration in emergency situations to ensure that appropriate neuromuscular blockade use, monitoring, and reversal will also be shared.
