ASHP recently updated the capabilities of its online store with a mobile-responsive design and the addition of an interactive chat feature.
The update affects the store’s login function, product listings and details, and checkout for books, ebooks, and learning products when viewed on iOS and Android mobile platforms. The site will automatically adapt for use on mobile devices, offering simpler navigation and easier-to-read pages. Future updates to the store will implement mobile-responsive design on the Meeting.
The interactive chat feature allows users to receive real-time help from an ASHP customer service representative. Available during ASHP business hours — Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. ET — the new feature allows customers to ask questions about products and get assistance in completing online transactions. Users should expect an immediate response to their queries. During high-volume periods, the system will alert users about longer wait times. Customers will receive an email transcript of their chat after their session is completed. The chat feature is available on the desktop and mobile versions of the ASHP Store.
