ASHP currently pays 82.50% of employee’s medical coverage and 50% of dependent premium coverage.

401(k) Savings and Investment Plan
Staff members may contribute up to the IRS maximum in pre-tax and/or Roth post-tax contributions. Staff members age 50 or older are eligible to contribute an additional "catch-up" amount. ASHP matches up to 4% dollar for dollar.
ASHP Retirement Benefit Plan
Per the approval of the Board of Directors, staff receive retirement contributions based on percentages of their base compensation. This plan follows a vesting schedule.
Full time staff members earn 3 weeks of vacation during the first 5 years of employment. The accrual will increase to 4 weeks starting with the 61st month of employment.
Full time staff members earn 12 days of leave per year.
Full time staff members receive 24 hours of personal leave each January 1.
Staff members may set aside tax free dollars to pay for medical care expenses and dependent care expenses.
Full-time non-exempt staff members receive up to $65 ($65 metro/$60 parking) per month for transportation expenses.
